Slackware booting on old Compaq Evo N400c

It was hard to get installed, and I still have to get the PCMCIA wireless card working using ndiswrapper. I can’t find the drivers for it, because it’s old. Do you have a job? E-mail me.

  1. I recomend to you to install a graphical desktop. For doing this you simple need to plug you´re computer to an ethernet port and then use opendrivers for finding the drivers that you don´t have. I don´t now if this app it´s for you´re linux distribution, but it worked me on the same machine with Debian and Ubuntu installed.

  2. Hi, I have the same laptop. The RJ45 connector has no locking “pin” and keeps popping out, is it the same on yours?
